The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on September 23, 2026, amended an older notification No. 62/1994-Customs (N.T.) dated November 21, 1994, related to Customs Ports in Andaman & Nicobar.
The following has been stated: -
•Campbell Bay has been added as a customs location for unloading imported goods and loading export goods.
•Car Nicobar has also been added for unloading imported goods and loading export goods.
•The amendment applies to specified goods or classes of goods as notified.
